Tales of an Empty Cabin Grey Owl Books

We've all heard of Jaque Cousteau, Thoreau, Muir, Walden........why on earth
have most Americans not heard of this man.........the movie done based on
his life starring Pierce Brosnan as Grey Owl should be a must see
by history teachers and a must read by English teachers.......college or high school

This man's life is so interesting.......I got lost in learning about him, wanting
to learn more, and was so amazed at the complexity of his life and his skills as a
writer

Anyone wanting to go on their own adventure, will find it when reading
this man's book, others and learning all they can of his life.......Wow

Tales of an Empty Cabin Grey Owl Books Reviews

subject matter excellent, writing style, verbage, tough to track as just not used to that era of speech.
Favorite of mine from the first thirty pages on! Would highly recommend this and any other "Grey Owl" writings to those whom love the wilderness.
I read this text with interest, because of gray owl's devotion to the end of hunting beaver for its pelt. The book came on time and I enjoyed reading the descriptions of a life well lived.
Good camping read. I read out loud to my daughter by the fire.
in very good shape---actually better than described by seller. i like that. the stories make good reading and, as with his other books, if you liked the movie you will love this.
I'd hoped for the story of the experiences of a true Native American
Grey Owl is an american treasure! I cannot believe he isn't talked about like Hemingway or London... His writing about adventure and the human spirit is classic! If you have ever longed to feel what it is like to live on the edge of living and death... this is your book!
