Well taili is dead, doesn't really effect him that much, stupid. Battles are cool as well as the strategic missions. Temple and surrounding area are advancing as well as the clan. Some relationships develop. I'm really confused about all the Russian random military info you get especially considering his background. Why did they specialize him as death knight if it's not going anywhere.

Inferno Play to Live A LitRPG Series Book 4 edition by D Rus Humor Entertainment eBooks Reviews

While I find some issues with the pacing of the story, I still enjoy the book immensely. LitRPG is quickly becoming one of my favorite genres. I hope to see more Play to Live books as well as more authors putting forth their own works.

I do hope the books slow down a little with the protagonists leaps in power. At this point he needs to even out a little or his struggles become meaningless as he already seem to be breezing through one conflict after another.

If you enjoy the series, I encourage you to donate so we can get the books translated faster.
This series just gets better and better! It may be my favorite of all time. I won't go into all the details but I'll tell you that I started reading book one and quit after an hour then came back to it a month later and haven't been able to stop since. Amazing story and characters! Nicely done.
A different tone to this book from the others in the series; but that's to be expected. As Alterworld grows more and more alive, it becomes less and less a game; in Inferno Max must respond to new threats, find new allies, and try to secure a future that will not be bound by the constraints of game control or design. While watching him become a Priest-King is exciting, one does wish to find out what's going on with more of those we met in earlier books. Sigh.
Still looking forward to the next one, though!
The action is really starting to heat up. All the strife and turmoil is starting to truly take a toll on the main character. He finds himself on rescue mission into the inferno. He meets new friends, mourns old friends. He realizes there is a mole and he has final showdown with his arch nemesis. The war between the light and the dark is starting to boil over. I cannot wait for more.
The first three books in the series were much more engaging. The fourth book felt way too easy for the main character. The consequences were stated too blatantly and lacked both suspense and build up. To put it in a way that coincides with the genre, it was like going into a high end dungeon with a raid who has it on farm status. You get to see the end boss but you aren't worried about a wipe. The whole book feels like 270 pages of closure and setup for the subsequent book. Still, I enjoyed it and will be reading the next in the series hoping this one was worth it.
Loved the book, and looking forward to the next one. Made me wish my Russian wasn't so bad & rusty so I could buy the rest of the series!

The book started off shortly after the last one, which made it seem the author missed the opportunity for some character development (his Mom going perma and the death of his girlfriend were almost not addressed). A minor quibble, but it is worth mentioning.

Another minor quibble, is the author could use some experience around guild finances. Part of that is a result of the timeline he imposed, and it being a new guild, but guilds of prominence don't generally worry about cash flow as much as he does. He does do some growing here with adding some officers, so it was a minor distraction overall (minor nit pick).

Regardless, the book made me laugh, and I look forward to the rest of the series!
the best book in the series, by far. i loved the first three books in this series. but this one took it up a notch. ive read 1000,s of books in my life. this book is in my all time top 5. the world building, the characters, the action are all great. even if you never played a video game in your life, you should get this series. i wish i could give it 6 *
